Systems Engineer

We currently have a great opportunity for a Systems Engineer for our Los Angeles office. This position will be responsible for daily administration, planning, installation, maintenance and support of all systems related to technology in our branch offices and data centers.  This person utilizes independent judgment and discretion in the performance of daily activities and works with other personnel as required to provide technology support for their departments.

What You'll Do

  • Design, configure, optimize, maintain and manage the following environments:
    • Microsoft Hyper-V and Azure Stack
    • Windows 2016, 2019, and 2022
    • Windows 10 and 11
    • Multisite Exchange 2016 with load balancers
    • Office 365
    • Network infrastructure including LAN, WAN and internet connections
    • Multisite SAN environment
    • Azure Endpoint Manager
  • Manage and maintain successful backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions in primary and secondary data centers and branch offices
  • Maintain branch office and data centers including all considerations for power, cooling, and cabling
  • Maintain integration of all infrastructure systems, including database, e-mail, security systems, firewalls, load balancers, network systems, Citrix, print, and backups servers and their associated software into enterprise systems
  • Own all aspects of alert/incident management processes related to system issues during and after business hours
  • Cross-train Engineering and Support teams on new or changing technologies
  • Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records
  • Investigate developing network technologies and provide recommendations regarding the future application of such technologies and related productivity gains
  • Provide after-hours emergency support



  • Minimum 5 years work experience (legal industry experience preferred)
  • Strong technical skills and expertise with:
    • Microsoft Windows Server 2016/19/22, Microsoft Windows 10/11
    • Microsoft SQL
    • Microsoft Exchange,
    • iManage Document management system
    • Mimecast
    • Microsoft Office 365
    • Microsoft Configuration Manager,
    • Application Whitelisting
    • Enterprise Virus/Malware Protection
    • Citrix XenApp and Netscaler
    • Palo Alto Firewalls
    • Microsoft Hyper-V virtual environments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with people from both technical and non-technical backgrounds



  • Salary to be based upon experience and education; targeting between $90-110K.
