We currently have a great opportunity for an IT Support Specialist for our Los Angeles office. This position will be responsible for providing high quality support services to the end user experience as it relates to the firm’s technology systems, policies and overall IT strategy.

What You'll Do
- Create and deploy desktop and laptop systems to users including imaging, configuration, testing and quality control.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware, software and configuration issues related to desktop and laptop operating systems, wireless and wired networking, communication and telecom systems, applications, printers and peripherals and ensure compliance of all security updates.
- Resolve end user issues related to desktop and laptop operating systems.
- Assist with new hire onboarding and changes and offboarding including accounts and permissions (network, email, phone, assigned hardware, etc.).
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, or consultants as needed to troubleshoot issues, request solutions or coordinate warranty/repairs.
- Participate in rollouts and updates, provide testing, input on the design, configuration and deployment of items related to the desktop, including but not limited to OS, hardware, and standard/non-standard applications.
- Monitor security trends affecting end-users, recognize and address malicious attempts via email, attachments, phone calls and websites.
- Manage equipment inventory, track allocation/assignments, document retired equipment.
- Create and maintain documentation that assists end users resolve common help requests issues.
- Provide primary Help Desk phone and email coverage.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule that involves after hours and weekend support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 3+ years in a technical role (prior law firm experience preferred).
- Expert knowledge of application and hardware troubleshooting and configuration for laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals.
- Thorough knowledge of Windows 10/11 OS, O365, document management systems; iManage Work 10 strongly preferred, document lifecycle applications; Litera Create/NTD, DocXTools, Change-Pro/Compare, Document assembly, Power PDF.
- Understanding of security components such as Microsoft AppLocker, BitLocker, Endpoint Protection, Defender, CrowdStrike, and Microsoft Authenticator.
- Knowledge and ability to support remote solutions such as VPN and Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Experience with telecom/communication platforms such as Zoom and MS Teams.
- Working knowledge of group policies, AD/Entra ID, O365 administration, Endpoint Manager.
- Work within a ticketing system and meet SLA’s.
- Knowledge of application customization and integration is a major plus.
- Experience with Configuration manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune is a major plus.
- Basic understanding of ITIL/ITSM methodologies.
Compensation
- Salary to be based upon experience and education; we're targeting between $80,000-$93,000 annual.
