2L Summer Associate (Summer 2025)

Cox Castle is a full-service law firm specializing in real estate.  Cox Castle’s summer program is for second-year law students (class of 2026) and provides a challenging and realistic law firm experience.  We believe that our people, the quality of our work product, and our overall working environment truly distinguishes us.  Students should have demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in real estate law in California after graduation.  (Real estate law includes transactional commercial real estate, environmental, land use, and real estate litigation practices.)

Our 10 week summer associate program is based in Los Angeles.
 
The anticipated base salary for this position is $3,942/week.

Land Use Associate (San Francisco)

Cox Castle is seeking a land use associate with 2 - 3 years of experience to join our San Francisco office. Our ideal candidate will have focused experience in land use (project entitlements, administrative proceedings, and litigation), natural resource law, and CEQA/NEPA. Experience in renewable energy is a plus.

Candidates must have strong academic credentials and solid foundational training. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are key. Admission to the California Bar is required.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $210,000 - $220,000, dependent upon experience and other relevant factors. Cox Castle also offers a comprehensive benefits package.


Real Estate Associate (San Francisco)

Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP is seeking a real estate transactional associate to join our San Francisco office. Our ideal candidate will have 2 – 3 years of transactional real estate experience. Associates will work on a broad spectrum of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, finance, joint venture, and development. (Experience in all of these areas is not required.) Candidates must have strong academic credentials. Admission to the California Bar is required. 

The anticipated base salary for this position is $210,000 - $220,000, dependent upon experience and other relevant factors. Cox Castle also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
