The 1L Opportunity Scholars Program is open to first-year students who have exhibited perseverance and excellence on their path toward a career in law. Applicants also must be first-year J.D. students (with an anticipated graduation year of 2028) in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school. Successful candidates should have a record of academic achievement, leadership qualities, strong writing and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in real estate law in California after graduation. (Real estate law includes transactional commercial real estate, environmental, land use, and real estate litigation practices.)

The anticipated 2026 summer associate compensation is $4,134 a week. Our 10-week summer associate program is based in Los Angeles.
